Charities:  The members decided upon donating to Harvest Hope Food Bank again this year.  The Cooperative Ministry was also discussed and even though they needed donations by the end of July, Johnese Bostic and Keisha Hightower stepped up to the plate and ran a very successful campaign.  The section members exceeded their goal with a mass collection of 16 packs of loose leaf paper, 52 packs of pencils, 43 boxes of crayons, 65 2-pocket folders, 52 spiral notebooks, 31 3-ring binders, 32 packs of pens, and plenty more of other school supplies.  Items were donated to Cooperative Ministries on July 22, 2011.

  1. Member Challenge:  since membership is how we survive, this year our challenge is for every member to enlist a new member into the SCPHA and the HE section!
